Verity Keays

I started singing professionally at the age of fifteen after leaving school to pursue a career in the music industry. Since then my life and work has always been about music in many different ways, from having a principle role in a London production of Aladdin to singing jingles on American radio.

I have toured extensively over the years working with such artists as Tommy Cooper, Tony Christie and Matt Monro. I was fortunate enough to sign my first recording contract with EMI Records at the age of twenty.

Eventually, I moved to the USA to further my career. I wanted to write and record my own songs so I started working in a busy recording studio as a session singer. This led to my second recording contract.

I like to share my experiences with my students to help them understand the music industry. I am extremely proud of all their achievements and encourage them to continually reach for their goals.

Many students are now singing professionally and others have gone on to specialise in singing at top performing arts colleges.
